Acne Free Treatment

Acne Free is a very popular brand because it is almost exactly the same as Proactiv, but at half the price. What's even better - you can easily pick this product up at your local drug store, including WalMart, Longs Drugs, etc. But, this acne treatment is an average acne treatment, so don't get your hopes up too high when you start using Acne Free.

The main ingredient Acne Free uses is benzoyl peroxide, an ingredient that kills bacteria thriving in acne. This 1960s technology is out of date, as there are many better acne treatments out there that don't damage or "bleach" the skin with prolonged use. The acne treatments I like to promote are "natural" acne treatments, since they use natural ingredients proven to treat acne without destroying the face. Exposed and ClearPores are both examples of these types of acne creams.

If you're on a low budget or are thinking about trying Proactiv but want a cheaper option, you may want to try out Acne Free. I've used it with minor success when I first started suffering from acne, but like I said in my Proactiv review, benzoyl peroxide doesn't work for more than a month or two. You'll either need to increase the benzoyl peroxide concentration that you use, or drop it altogether. This, at least, is for the majority of acne sufferers who don't have luck with benzoyl peroxide.
